This is a picture of a brazilian kid who was part of the “cultural group of reggae”, playing his instrument in the funeral of his mentor who saved him from an environment of poverty and crime. He was rescued from the street.

Unfortunately this little boy, called Diego Frazão Torquato, died in 2010 at age 12 due to a cardiac arrest caused. ;(

REUNITED AND IT FEELS SO GOOD
Left is re-imagined Mulan, right is still from Mulan film. Pretty drastic difference, not only in the color of her skin, but also in the shape of her features (new lips are fuller, new face is slimmed and longer). The new Mulan’s eyes now seem to have a blue highlight, making them look like Western blue eyes. Hmm…

Not abandoned yet, but on the chopping block. Peoria Illinois Madison Theater. Built in 1920. In the 90’s it was a thriving concert venue. Sponge, Veruca Salt, Fiona Apple, Expanding Man, etc played there. I saw the Pumpkins play an amazing show there right before Mellon Collie came out.
